Richard Hammond Lost Miserably In The Battle With A Car!

But mind you, it was no ordinary car either!
The co-host of Top Gear, Richard Hammond, recently gained access to Marauder, a vehicle manufactured by Paramount Group in South Africa. Two interesting things about the car are: one, it is said to be the ‘world’s toughest car’; two, the people in South Africa first need to get permission from the government before they can buy a Marauder!
And, Richard slipped into the driving seat of the car in the first episode of the new season of Top Gear. And what did he do with the car?
Well, you can surely lay your hands on Top Gear download, but I wouldn’t feel so great making you wait even for a single minute, so I’d rather tell you what he did.
He tried all sorts of things to check if the Marauder really does stand up to its tag of being ‘world’s toughest car,’ and I have to admit that Richard Hammond lost the battle. Marauder won, hands down!
From running the car through the dilapidated buildings in Johannesburg, to detonating it with explosives, to leaving it to the whims of a pride of angry lions, Richard tried everything under the sun, and failed miserably. Marauder stood there, gleaming, and with its head held high!
Bigger in size and reminding one of a Land Rover from earlier times, Marauder isn’t as much a car in a general sense. But make no mistake, it looks great and holds the tag of being an indestructible car.
The price of a Marauder isn’t on the lighter side, though. Priced at £300,000, Marauder would take a big bite out of your bank account, but would bring safety that no other car could ever dream of. It is said that the windows are so hard that they can survive a grenade attack.
Er, it has to be the toughest car then, what do you say? Nice drive, Mr. Hammond!
